April 29th - Bonus Track "Beach Ball" Played Live
Tonight, "Beach Ball" was played for the first time at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park, Alpharetta, GA. Beach Ball's lyrics can be found on our lyrics page. Beach Ball is not apart of the 13 track Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King, instead it's included as one of the four extra tracks on the Super Deluxe Package.
April 28th - Advance Listening Party Contest
Create a Facebook event for a listening party and you could receive an advanced copy of Big Whiskey. One hundred lucky fans with the most group will get the CD to play at their party. April 26th - Amazon.com Releases the Titles Of the Extra Tracks
The Super Deluxe Package of Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King contains four extra tracks that were unknown until Amazon posted them on their product page of the Super Deluxe Package. The extra track titles are:

April 26th - Hidden Track In Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King?
The good folks at AntsMarching.org noticed that Target.com is selling the Super Deluxe Package as well. In Target's description of the package they say "14 Lithographs - Original drawings by Dave Matthews; one for each song." According to the official track list there are only 13 songs. Is the 14th song an error on Target.com's part, or is that where "Shotgun" ended up?
April 21th - RCA's Free Single Download Expires
The free download expired this afternoon, but you can still get the Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King single "Funny The Way It Is" by purchasing it from iTunes or Amazon MP3. Order the iTunes Pass and you get today.
April 21th - DMB Launches iTunes Pass

April 14th - First Single Released
Dave Matthews Band released the first single from Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King called "Funny The Way It Is" as a free download.
April 13th - Album Art Is Officially Released
You can see the completed album art by playing the album art puzzle, which required rearranging the eight pieces correctly to reveal the ninth (center) piece and thus the full Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King album art.
April 11th - DMB In Billboard
DMB graced the cover of Billboard this month with two articles inside, the main one called Dave Matthews Band Talks 'Big Whiskey' and the other called Dave Matthews Band's 'Big Whiskey' Is a Toast To LeRoi Moore. From the articles, we get a confirmation of the deluxe package and the trailer of the documentary video:
April 9th - Album Art Being Released Daily
Sections of the album art showed up on the band's official site and Facebook with no explanation. It looks like it's divided into nine pieces and we are going to get a new piece each day.
April 2nd - First Single: Funny The Way It Is
Radio stations are reporting that the first single of Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King is called "Funny The Way it Is" and will start being played April 14, 2009.
April 1st - First Promo Video Released From the Official Site
Fifteen fans hanging outside DMB's studio were treated to an exclusive preview of two tracks ("Grux" & "Shake Me Like A Monkey") from Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King:
