June 11th – Dave Matthews On Charlie Rose
Tonight, Dave Matthews sat at the round table with Charlie Rose to talk about his latest album, Roi and South Africa. If you happened to miss it, you can watch it here.
June 10th – Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King Tops Billboard's Charts
Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King became Dave Matthews Band’s fifth consecutive album to debut at number 1. The album sold 424,000 copies its first week, which is the third best debut of 2009.
June 9th – Funny Music Video Debuts
The music video for “Funny the Way It Is” came out today. It could be best described as a blend of Eh Hee and I Did It. Dave Matthews is the only band member to appear live and it shares the same stop-motion animation as the Eh Hee video.
June 7th – "Lying In The Hands of God" and "You & Me" Played Live
Tonight, "Lying In The Hands of God" and "You & Me" was played for the first time at New England Dodge Music Center in Hartford, CT.
June 4th – Street Vendor At the End Of "Squirm" Identified
The street vendor that is heard at the end of “Squirm” was identified as Mr. Okra in the following video:
Mr. Okra also appears in another video of someone taking a picture of his truck and a video called “New Orleans Fruit Man” and another called “New Orleans Fruit Peddler”.

Today, Google posted a Dave Matthews Band theme for users of the iGoogle homepage. You can select to apply the entire theme to or just parts of it.
June 2nd - Album is released in North America
Today, Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King was released to the North American music retailers. Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King is Dave Matthews Band’s first studio album in four years.
June 1st - Album is released in Europe
Today, our friends in Europe got to purchase Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King. The album is two tracks longer than the North American versions with the addition of “Write a Song” and “Cornbread”.
